The rain was freezing today. I am sick (again), it must be Hay Fever, but thankfully I don't have a Fever. :) Or maybe I'm just sick because the seasons are changing. I'm noticing that it's becoming quite a pattern; I always get sick during Exams Week. Boo.

Today, I am grateful for being dry and snug at home. Even if I have to study.

There was a Bake Sale by the lounge we always hang out in. She's raising money so she could go and volunteer in South Africa. I hauled my friends over and we bought lots. It's nice to see people wanting to help others.

293*365 Grateful-The Hunger Games

Went to watch The Hunger Games today. I loved it! It's been a while since I went to watch a movie, so it was nice.

Then went straight off to Chapters to buy the complete set of the book. I only read the first book, The Hunger Games (by Suzanne Collins) before the movie came out. I'll read the rest (Catching Fire and Mockingjay) after I've finished all my exams.

Having fun with this app that my friend downloaded on his iPhone. The pictures were grabbed from him too. We hang out at this coffee shop every morning to kill time before we head off to class. Excuse the faces, it was so early in the morning and the phone was making its rounds, like poof. There was no time to compose ourselves. :P

291*365 Grateful-Experiment

I have no school on Thursdays so I just stay at home. I cooked something, but I don't know what it is. I just threw whatever I liked. This is the result: boiled Yukon Gold potatoes with Cream of Mushroom, bacon bits, and dried thyme leaves, asparagus sauteed in butter with garlic, and croutons. It wasn't bad, actually, it's quite good. :)

A little breather for the day. Warming my tummy with warm miso soup and bright yellow daffodils brightening up the kitchen. The sky was a lovely colour of blue, dotted here and there with white clouds.

Today, I am grateful for all the good things and the wonderful people that has managed to come my way. I feel so lucky and blessed.

I can't read Japanese well, in fact, I can hardly read them at all, except for a few Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana, but I love looking at the magazines about photography that Megu-chan sent me from Japan. The pictures are full of heart and are so lovely to look at.

One more love for today; it's raining! Well, actually it's a thunderstorm. Ah, Spring Showers are the best!

Introspect: On the way home from school, Louise and I bumped into one of our classmates from Japanese Class. Seriously, that girl is just so nice. Her kindness makes me feel so nice and warm inside. Whenever I see her, she is so quick to smile. I don't think I deserve such kindness, but I am grateful for people who are blessed with so much love that it spill into other people's lives.
