Lilac; taken from my friend's garden. She actually caught me sneaking and stealing her flowers. Lovely smell.

I'm at my friend's house and stole their camera to take pictures of this little cutie. :) It's a tea strainer with a little teacup charm dangling at the other end.
One of my friend's sister, Ali is having fun taking pictures lately. Visit her blog here: A Tune of Optimism. Her camera is the one I borrowed for these shots.

Whispers of the heart.
These pictures are really inappropriate for the season right now. I found these tucked away in my old blog, collecting time. I was just starting to take pictures then. Not that I'm any better now. I actually think that I was way better then. I never cared for anything. I was having fun. I never needed anybody's acknowledgments. I wonder when it turned into a narcissistic way of boosting my ego? So, I am going back. Lately, taking pictures isn't as fun as it used to be. Now I know.
I think too much about it.
It isn't as clear cut as what I've always thought it would be; as how I've always believed it would be. It is blurry. It is imperfect. It is this moment. It is this light. It is perfectly imperfect. It is chaos. It is life.
All I need is a camera. And a moment. Nothing more.

Things That I Love...
Someone once said that Photography is not a hobby for the poor. I don't know a lot of things about Photography: I don't know what number of Aperture I use, I don't know my F-stop, I don't know if it's Spot-Metering or Center-Weighted... Heck, I don't even know what Shutter Speed to use on different situations. If I have to analyze little things like that before I take a picture, I think I'll pass. The magic'll be gone by then. That which matters the MOST should never give way to that which matters the LEAST.

Lazy Days.
May Long Weekend's Victoria Holiday.
Lazy days make me feel...aaahhh... lazy. Even the letters look lazily lopsided. :)

Hanging. :)
When you have a garden, you never run out of things to take pictures of.
Things stop being special when you no longer believe them to be so.

Beyond~
"It just takes some time, to realize that walking out the door can take you somewhere you've never been before."
First Roll-Kodak STAR 435.
After about a year, now I know that my Kodak STAR 435 is working. I will scan some pictures as soon as I finish with my STATS Mid-Term as well as run film through my Olympus Trip 35. :)

Friday the 13th.
It's been raining all week and this is one of the most colourful sunset we've had in a long time. Tomorrow brings promise of sunshine and blue skies. But right now, I'm contented with the cold Spring breeze drifting in and out of the window.

Olympus Trip 35
Look what came in the mail today- more of like, came out flying in my doorstep. I just got home from the university when I saw a Canada Post Mini-Van pull up in front of my house. Expecting a package to arrive, I watched the Mail-Man cross the front lawn in great strides, peeked at the gate, pull out the package from under his arms and I watch, horrified as I saw him throw the package inside the gate, landing near the doorstep.
But all's well that ends well. It is safe, and in excellent condition.
I still have to figure out how to use it, since it didn't came with the Manual. So, the newest addition to my small collection of cameras. Say hello to Olympus Trip 35.
